October 25, 2013—On October 16-17, 2013, Trusted Choice held its first Virtual Experience trade show. The Trusted Choice Virtual Experience is an online insurance tradeshow exclusive to Trusted Choice member agencies and Trusted Choice Company and MGA Partners. This virtual insurance tradeshow is like a physical tradeshow, but attendees attend online from a computer wherever they can access the Internet. Attendees enjoy the information and speakers right from their desks at their convenience.
They invited their Trusted Choice Company and MGA Partners, as well as Big “I” programs and preferred vendors, to exhibit at the virtual tradeshow, such as Allied Insurance, Hartford Steam Boiler and HSB HomeWorks, Markel Specialty, The Hartford, and Travelers, to name only a few.
“Many agents are looking for the opportunity to research best practices to help them increase their knowledge and grow their businesses, but they are busy people, and might find it hard to get away to attend a conference in person. The Trusted Choice Virtual Experience gave them the chance to find out what is new and exciting in the marketplace, and was just one more example of how Trusted Choice helps their members to succeed,” said Barry Morphis, Vice President, Sales, MetLife Auto & Home.
Booths were stocked with information regarding each company’s programs and products, videos, even prize giveaways, just like a traditional convention. This year’s grand prize giveaway was an Apple iPad. Once the insurance tradeshow goes live, attendees are able to chat with booth staff at the insurance exhibit booths to get their questions answered in real time, as well as take advantage of insurance industry experts who offer presentations on leading insurance topics.
